Bradwell Quay Yacht Club
Bradwell Quay Yacht Club is an RYA accredited yacht club formed in 1952. Our aim is to promote and advance the enjoyment of sailing.
Our members are mainly boat owners who keep their craft in Bradwell Creek on Club allocated moorings or in Bradwell Marina.
Have a look at our 2019 programme for our events scheduled throughout the year. They include rally cruising, racing, talks, walks and suppers.
Communication with members is via e-mail, Facebook, this website and the in-house produced magazine, “Mainsheet”.
Our Clubhouse is located at the head of the slip down to the creek on the south side of the River Blackwater Estuary at Waterside, Bradwell-on-sea in Essex. You can find us on Google map CM0 7QY.
The facilities of the Clubhouse have steadily been improved since it was built in 1975; the Club acquired the site in 1964. We have our own Steward who runs the Club’s licensed bar and there is car parking at the rear of the premises. In addition there is a dedicated BBQ area and quarterdeck with picnic tables overlooking the creek, from where magnificent sunsets can be enjoyed. We have toilets and showers available for members’ use and storage for outboards and oars.
We are pleased to welcome visiting yachtsmen and women and their crews. Please do not hesitate to call in to see us any Friday or Saturday evening during the summer, we would be pleased to welcome you.
